As our Lord asks us to pray for labourers for His harvest, you are invited by St. Luke’s parish to participate in a time of prayer for vocations. This event consists of adoration before the Blessed Sacrament, and a few brief talks given by Fr. Cristino Bouvette, the Vocation Director for the Diocese, and Peter An and Samuel O’Ejeregbe, two of our Diocesan seminarians. The talks are scheduled to occur after the 8 a.m. Mass on Monday, April 3rd, and on Tuesday, April 4th after both the 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. Masses. The devotion ends on the morning of April 5th at 7:30 a.m. with Benediction. Each hour will have a brief prayer for vocations prayed together by all present and then silent adoration for the rest of the hour before the Lord exposed in the monstrance. Come to spend some time with Jesus and ask Him for vocations to the priesthood and consecrated life for our Diocese.
