GriefShare

GriefShare is a positive, uplifting, and caring group in which you can learn how to deal with the emotions and challenges that come when a loved one dies. You’ll gain renewed hope for the future. These sessions are open to any adult, regardless of whether your experience is 10 days ago, or 10 years ago.  The group is led by trained individuals who have personally experienced grief due to a loved one’s death.  It is a safe place, as everything that is said in the group is confidential.

GriefShare meets weekly, and the content is Christ-centered and biblical.  Christ is the center of every class and discussion.  He is our ultimate “burden-bearer”, so we learn much about Him. We would love to welcome you and share your burden.   You will find this to be a place where you can be around people who understand the pain of your loss.  You will learn valuable information that will help you through this difficult season of your life.  Please remember that what you are experiencing is sometimes easier to bear knowing others are listening and do care.

We offer this program in the fall and spring.

Our next GriefShare group meets here Monday evenings from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. from September 11th to November 27th, 2023.  The materials address topics and issues for those who are grieving.  It includes a workbook, a 30-minute video that helps with the grieving process, and a discussion time where we share one another’s experiences of heartache in small groups.  If this is something you feel up to, we hope that you will consider joining us.
