The Sisters of Divine Mercy is a Public Association of the Faithful established by Bishop Frederick Henry in the Diocese of Calgary, Alberta, Canada in 2015, the Jubilee Year of Mercy.

In response to the pressing need for formation in ministry highlighted in the Diocesan Phase Synod Synthesis (no. 21), the Diocese has prioritized developing a stronger and more diverse approach to support the formation of those responsible for forming others. Through our partnership with the Catechetical Institute, the Diocese is able to provide all ministry leaders with full and free access to the Institute's extensive online formation workshops that cover a broad range of topics relevant to evangelization and catechesis in the Church today.
